Blackcap 7217 was the top selling lot in our 2009 sale and is now a featured donor working for us as well as our new partners Deer Valley Farms. This female is a second generation Springfield donor and blends the breed leading sire Objective with the top-selling female of the 2008 sale, Blackcap P400 who sold half interest to Riverbend Ranch. A heifer pregnancy from this great young female sired by Gardens Prime Star was purchased by Express Ranches through the 2009 Springfield Angus production sale. Maternal sisters to Blackcap 7217 include a heifer pregnancy to Shoulderbone Plantation and Blackcap 9006, a selection of Sullivan Angus Farms. A natural calf by Final Answer and ET calves by Prime Star are due this fall then this exciting donor will be moved to the donor pen. |
